Albert Einstein mentioned that we only use 10% of our brains. We can work hard to increase our intelligence and harness those unused potential. Is this really true that we only use 10% of our brains?
A lot of Neuroscientists refute the ten percent myth. They gave several evidence again ten percent myth.
1) Small damage of small part of the brain can cause human loss of abilities. We can not find evidences of 90% of brain damage without profound effects.
2)PET technologies show that even we sleep, most of brain shows sign of activities.
3)We are at the top of natural evolution due to that we have huge brains. If we use only 10% of our brains, we may not be much more smarter than other animals.
A lot of people still believe that we only use 10% of our brains. We also see the evidence that we can increase our memory significantly after training. We can increase our music talent, math talent and balance after training. We may use all of brain all the time, but in a very low efficiency. This is why Albert Einstein saw himself as an average kid but became the greatest scientist in the world after hard working.
