Is parallel universe possible?
May 5th 2011 05:19
The universe may be more complicated than we think. According to quantum mechanics, the particle is also a wave. It can appear anyway with different possibilities. The quantum-mechanical "Schrödinger's cat" paradox refers to that the cat can be both alive and dead, but the "alive" and "dead" cats are in parallel universes, both of which are equally real, but which cannot interact with each other. Within these parallel universes, we have different reality.
As we know, particles may be waves. A wave can be decomposed into a set of simple oscillating functions, namely sines and cosines. The reality is an eigenstate of wave-functions.
We can decompose our universe into finite or infinite parallel universes. We have different reality in different universes. You have a son in our universe, but in other universe you have a daughter. Life, time and space are no more singularity. One action has more than one outcome and appears in the same time but in different universes.

Scientists now believe there may really be infinite number of parallel universes and we just live in one of them. Astonishingly, scientists believe that these parallel universes exist less than one millimeter away from us. In fact, our gravity is just a weak signal leaking out of another universe into ours.

That being the case - is it not 'possible' that this devine being simply puts these little 'life and its existance' theories into the universal melting pot to keep everyone guessing.
. . . just a theory

Just like we have so many different languages
to point to the same thing. We keep questing the universe and probably we never know and are not able to know the final answer.
