What is lucid dreaming?

Have you ever had this experience? You're dreaming, but in a dream, you know you're dreaming. This is called lucid dream.

A lucid dream is a dream in which one is aware that one is dreaming. Not everyone can know they are dreaming in a dream. According to rough estimates, only about 10% of people have this "ability." The video below from Discovery Channel tries to reveal the secret of lucid dreaming.
